Democrats are voting on a bill to expand the Affordable Care Act. The Affordable Care Act or what is known as Obamacare will be on the table again before the November 2020 elections.

Up today, Kimberly Leonard reports that Democrats in the House of Representatives are preparing to vote on a bill that’s created to enhance the Affordable Care Act..
The bill probably won’t end up being law. It’s unlikely that the Republican-controlled Senate will take it up. Rather, Kimberly reports, the goal is to highlight the differences between Democrats in favor of the bill and the Republicans who oppose it going into the 2020 elections..
Included of in the bill that is up until now: more subsidies for private insurance, more money to get the word out about the ACA, limiting short-term insurance strategies, and considering extending the quantity of time moms are eligible for Medicaid after delivering.
Not included are: Anything about a public choice, or lowering the age for Medicare eligibility from 65 to 60..
